What are benefits of salt rooms?
Scientific studies show that people with asthma and other ailments breath easier after halotherapy. The calming and detoxifying effects of halotherapy can support the immune, nervous and lymphatic systems. Additional benefits are reduced stress and headaches, increased energy, and better sleep patterns.
Do you tip at a salt cave?
Not necessary for the Salt Cave but always appreciated! Massage it is customary to tip 20%. over a year ago. I did not tip for salt cave, but did for massage services.
How often should you use a salt room?
Many individuals may experience some relief after one visit, but it is recommended to undergo a series of sessions for maximum results. Salt therapy is most effective when administered consistently at a minimum of 2x/week for 8-12 weeks.
Should you shower after a salt room?
You do not need to shower immediately after a salt room session. You can carry on with your day as usual.
How often should you sit in a salt cave?
For mild to moderate respiratory conditions 10 to 12 sessions are recommended, depending on individual results. For best results the sessions should be 4 to 5 times per week.
What do u wear in a salt cave?
You will want to wear comfortable clothing to your salt session. Please note that darker colored clothing may show salt, but it can easily be brushed off and will not harm your clothing. While we have fresh blankets for sessions, some people prefer to bring their own blanket as the room does get cool.
Can you go to a salt cave with high blood pressure?
It’s a good questions and one that has a very simple answer. No, The Salt Suite® salt rooms will not cause your blood pressure to rise. Even with the salt particles in our rooms having a concentration 10-15 times higher than normal sea air, you don’t have to worry about it affecting your blood pressure.
