The active ingredient in Sleep-eze® is Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride, which works by preventing effects of a substance called histamine, which is produced by the body.
What happens if you take sleeping pills everyday?

They can’t cure anxiety or insomnia. This is because they don’t deal with the underlying causes of these problems. But they can help you feel calmer and more relaxed in the short term.
Can I take sleep Eze every night?
The effects of diphenhydramine can last for up to 6 hours. If you have trouble sleeping, do not take this medication for more than a few nights in a row. Talk to your doctor about other treatment options suitable for you if you have chronic (long-term) insomnia that persists for more than a few nights at a time.

How many sleep Eze should you take?
Adults and children 12 years of age and older: Take 1 or 2 caplets before going to bed if needed. If persisting drowsiness occurs when taking 2 caplets (50mg), reduce dose to 1 caplet (25mg).
