Is the Suzuki SV1000 worth the money?
The Suzuki SV1000 is a purpose built big capacity, sensibly priced, road going sporty V-twin. Ok, the engine’s nicked from Suzuki’s old TL1000S but the rest of the SV1000 is all-new yet the price tag is very reasonable new or used. The faired Suzuki SV1000 ‘S’ version has lower bars but is the better all-rounder.

This SV1000S is a jewel and absolutely looks and rides like brand-new. The new owner will not be disappointed with this SV and will be proud to show it off. How does The SV1000 engine compare to the SV650?
The 1000 engine is a beast compared to the 650 and it’s just a higher-spec machine in the details like the beautiful cast-aluminum swingarm, and beefy 46mm front fork, for examples. The only thing this SV could use is a set of new tires.

The engine was based on the TL1000 powerplant, but with over 300 refinements reflecting both its less-hardcore intent and additional development time.
