I’d not recommend using water or isopropyl, I tried both and I didn’t get a good even spray pattern from either (both too thin). only using their regular (NOT p.u.) matt varnish and i barely thin it with tap water; about 1/4 water 3/4 varnish and 10 percent of flow improver overall.
