Are mule rides in Grand Canyon worth it?
Not worth the time IMO. The overnight trip to Phantom Ranch is a trip of a lifetime. The day trip at the North Rim does go down into the canyon but not all the way. You’ll see exactly what you would see if you walked the same trail, but you’ll see it from the back of a mule.
