The award amount of this scholarship is up to $1,875 per term. Army ROTC Scholarships are awarded by U.S. Army Cadet Command (ROTC) through the GMC Professor of Military Science to qualified students participating in the Early Commissioning Program who desire to become officers in the United State Army.

Do you have to be in military to go to Ung?
While UNG is a Senior Military College and cadets are immersed in a fulltime Army ROTC Program, you are not required to serve in the military upon graduation.
Do you have to be in the military to go to the University of North Georgia?
High School Seniors may still apply for the UNGMS after the deadline. However, qualified and completed applications received after the deadline of February 15, 2022 will be put on the waitlist. You do not need to be currently enlisted in the Georgia Army National Guard to apply for the UNGMS.
