What is the red point competition?
Red Point. This type of competition provides many different climbing routes. Each route has a different level of difficulty and a unique point value commensurate to the level of difficulty. Points are gained only if the route is completed. The basic strategy for the red point is to warm up on easy climbs.

WHAT IS A ZONE IN BOULDERING? In the bouldering competition, climbers can also help their score by using the ‘zone’ hold of a boulder problem.
