A glyph is simply a bitmap image that can be used to within the button’s property to give a pretty neat way to indicate to the user what exactly the button may do. Some examples are exit / close or save or edit for a few.

How to position 32×32 glyph on 40×40 button?
All good, but the positioning options, Top, Left, Right and Bottom are pretty clunky as a 32 x 32 Glyph on a 40 x 40 button always goes to the top left, right or bottom. and the 32 x 32 picture is centered in the button.
