Why is my pee hole so small?
Uric acid and ammonia crystals are the most common cause for the narrowing of the meatus. These crystals are found in the urine and can be left in the diaper before your baby is changed. These crystals may cause a low grade inflammation which can cause the meatus to narrow over time.
Can I live with meatal stenosis?
Meatal stenosis is not an extremely common condition and is treatable through minor surgery. If left untreated, meatal stenosis can lead to kidney problems or a urinary tract infection (UTI).
What causes swollen meatus?
Urethritis is the inflammation and swelling of the urethra, the narrow tube that carries urine from the bladder to the outside of the body. It leads to difficulty or pain when urinating. Urethritis is usually caused by bacteria or a virus. A chemical irritant can also trigger it.

Urethroplasty. This involves surgically removing the narrowed section of your urethra or enlarging it. The procedure might also involve reconstruction of the surrounding tissues. Tissues from other areas of the body, such as your skin or mouth, may be used as a graft during reconstruction.
How do you reconstruct your urethra?
Depending on the exact location and the extent of damage, the urethra will be repaired by either replacing the tissue with tissue from another part of the body, or by taking out the damaged portion of the urethra and then reconnecting the urethral tube.
